Honestly, I became a Secret Shopper accidentally. I was at a fast food restaurant (I won't reveal the name) and the food was just awful. I tried to get my money back and the girl behind the counter made me feel like it was my fault! I spoke with the manager and got the phone number for their corporate office. I called the next day and spoke with the General Manager of my area and he said it was a franchise and that I could call the owner. After speaking with the owner on the phone, he invited me back to meet him for a complimentary meal! I was very impressed that he would go this far. I met him and he was very sincere and apologetic and paid for my meal. Then we sat down and he asked me if I would like to evaluate another one of his franchises. I told him I would be glad to and he said he would mail me a form to fill out. It arrived a few days later from a company that he uses to hire people to evaluate restaurants and retail stores. I called them to confirm the date I would be going and asked if there were other people like myself that were doing this. They explained their entire operation and I couldn't believe it! The rest is history! Now, I receive several emails per week to evaluate different places! It's really amazing and I even get to pick and choose which places I want to evaluate. There's no charge, no obligation, and I get paid to do what I would be doing anyway!

What is a Secret Shopper, you ask? Well, it's rather simple. I am paid by companies to evaluate their establishments and share my experience to improve their customer service. I eat at well known and popular restaurants, shop at nationwide department stores, go to the movies, buy my groceries, and even take my family to Disneyland...all for FREE!
